ESV Hebrews 10: 24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near..”
This verse really made an impression on me a couple weeks back. I had been thinking about how important it is to meet with one another daily and not just at church. Going to church is great, but the little meetings such as a Monday evening prayer, a Tuesday morning breakfast with a friend, maybe a Thursday evening coffee at Casablanca, a Saturday morning discipleship class, or just a simple impromptu get-together with some friends is a HUGE importance to our walk with the Lord! The little things in life can often be the biggest encouragement! A little meeting on a Saturday morning, with just a few people talking about what God’s been doing for them and spiritually washing each others feet with God’s word, can be what gets you and me through the weekend and leads us closer to God! “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” -Matthew 18: 20
Just a thought I wanted to share… I’ll see you all tonight!
